The private pilot API accepts JPEG, PNG or WebP and returns a metadata-free WebP. Unlike the browser tool, photos are sent to our server for processing. Sign in with Google to activate your trial and create an API key in your account.

Single-file requests; animated images are not supported

POST /api/v1/clean accepts the image as a binary body with Authorization: Bearer, Content-Type and Idempotency-Key headers. Successful responses contain image/webp. Your integration key also provides access to GET /api/v1/usage.

We apply EXIF orientation and convert colour to sRGB before lossless WebP encoding. Image dimensions are preserved apart from rotation. Uploaded photos and results are not saved by the API application; usage receipts are retained for retries. Read our privacy policy.
